Terms of use
Last updated: September 29, 2026
By connecting to the Blitz Speedrun server (play.blitzspeedrun.com) or using the blitzspeedrun.com website, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Publisher
Blitz Speedrun is published by [TO BE COMPLETED: name or company name, address]. Contact: [TO BE COMPLETED: e-mail address].
The service is hosted by OVH (France).
Access to the service
The server is free and open to anyone with a legitimate Minecraft Java Edition account, authenticated by Mojang / Microsoft. No additional account is created on the website.
You are responsible for how your Minecraft account is used. Blitz Speedrun is in beta: access may be limited, interrupted or changed at any time.
Code of conduct
- Cheating is forbidden: modified clients that give an advantage, exploiting bugs to skew a leaderboard, automating gameplay actions. An anti-cheat is active and records detected violations.
- Harassment, hateful, discriminatory or illegal speech, spam and unsolicited advertising are forbidden in chat and in usernames.
- You must not deliberately disrupt the server (attacks, overload, exploiting vulnerabilities). Any vulnerability you find must be reported to the publisher.
- In case of breach, the publisher may warn, temporarily or permanently ban a player and remove their results from the leaderboards, without notice or compensation.
Leaderboards and public profiles
Leaderboards, profile pages and run pages on the website are public: they display your Minecraft username, statistics and results. By playing on the server, you accept this display. You can request its removal or anonymization (see the data retention policy).
No affiliation
Blitz Speedrun is an independent project. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang Studios / Microsoft; this project is neither endorsed by nor affiliated with them.
Availability and liability
The service is provided "as is", with no guarantee of availability, progress retention or absence of bugs. Leaderboards or game data may be reset, especially during the beta.
To the extent permitted by law, the publisher cannot be held liable for lost game data, service interruptions or any indirect damage arising from use of the service.
Intellectual property
The code, texts, visuals and mechanics specific to Blitz Speedrun are protected. Third-party elements (Minecraft, plugins, maps, resources) remain the property of their respective authors and are used under their licenses.
Donations and purchases
No payment is currently offered on the website or the server. If donations or a shop are introduced, specific terms will be added before any payment.
Personal data
The processing of data linked to your Minecraft account is described in the data retention policy, which is an integral part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
The publisher may change these terms at any time. The last-updated date is shown at the top of the page; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action.
